It's Earth Day People!

As a celebration of Earth Day I thought I would show a few items that perked my own interest and are deemed "eco-friendly." Enjoy!

This first item I found at http://www.thisnext.com/ . Just search on the site for Solar Sun Jar. It's a portable light that you can set outside in the sun and then carry it anywhere. Apparently it is powered for 5 hours! It's like non-flickering candlelight...oohhh, ahhhh!

I picked one of my favorite mugs to put on here too. Simply because it helps to not throw away paper cups all the time and you can even use them as a bowl too. For ice cream and soup and snacks ect... It's more fun that way! This is from Lollipop Pottery. They have a cute little birdie mug too!

This item I found on http://www.etsy.com/ . Store name is WasteNotSaks, all together like that too. So you can search under store names and find these. They are a fairly good price too. From what I gather they are reusable, machine washable Ziploc bags. They come in fun designs too. Bonus!

Last but not least. This one also from http://www.thisnext.com/ . A staple free stapler! I'm excited not only for the earth friendly factor but I am one of the idiots who seems to get hurt with staples, so, yah! Apparently it makes a tiny cut and fold in the paper that holds it together. Neat! Oh, and you can get it at Office Depot.
